For years my life was a roller coaster and I wanted off! I started going to church and was Baptized. This gave me hope that I would find peace amongst the chaos but honestly life was still very difficult for many years. After a lot of prayer, self discovery, healing and growing I finally found the peace I was looking for. I knew I wanted to share my story. I wanted others to know that hope and peace was possible. I wanted to be authentic about my journey but I wanted to shine the light on God because my relationship with him is truly what changed me. In march of 2023 I started my blog Finding the Light with Mandi to share my struggles and my triumphs, one story at a time. In August of this year I felt led to “Be the Light”. The goal is simple. I just want to love on people. I want to share the goodness of God and bring joy to others. I want others to feel seen and heard. Often we can not change our circumstances but we can change our perspective, which can change everything!
